My approach to tutoring is to be patient, enthusiastic, and address the needs of the student by effectively listening to them. Every student is different so it is important to be adaptable and accommodating. I enjoy tutoring math, reading, and writing. While working at the Boys and Girls Club, I tutored elementary school students and helped them improve their math and reading skills. Because reading is the foundation to success in other subjects, I focused on ensuring that students learned how to read and comprehend the material. I also worked as a teaching associate at UCLA where I taught statistics and research methods for psychology.

I am very passionate about education and I enjoy working and interacting with students. My passion, combined with my skills and experience make me an exceptional tutor. I look forward to meeting new students and helping them achieve their goals!
